Up Bright & Early

Blue sky outside ... Looks lovely, though I bet it's very, very cold. Think we'll go downtown today for a final look around before we depart for home. The short visit has been fun and we're enjoying our time with Archie ... He's a very pleasant wee lad.

Better day down on Broadway. Visit a few AT&T and they couldn't do anything for me, neither could Verizon or Sprint. However I persevered and popped into a back street electronic shop where the techie guys cut me a T-Mobile micro SIM card, installed and tested it so that I can use the phone and upgrade to data later ... just what I wanted.

On our return we met this little bover boy.

Information

The location on the map is automatically updated while my mobile 'phone is switched on, actioned and within an active cell area.

However, to conserve battery charge, the 'phone will usually be switched off.

During the day when I stop off somewhere for a rest or a bite to eat I will probably switch on the 'phone and update my location on 'Google Latitude'. The time status below the map will give an indication of recent activity but will depends on T-Mobile coverage or my ability to get onto the Internet via WiFi. Expect blogs from McDonald's, Starbucks or public libraries!

'Clicking' the Current Location link will give more detailed information in Google Maps. Try using 'Streetview', if it's available, to see the area I'm passing through.
