Budapest Day 3

A bit of a late start but are on our way now to Momentous Park by public transport to see the soviet statues and memorabilia. Weather is lovely and we're beginning to feel like locals.

Waiting for our bus

Where have you seen this before.

Time to get back ... a Trabant

Bye, bye ... back to the city centre for a cappuccino and a little bun.

Booked our trip for the boat on the Danube. It's hard work being a tourist.

We tried a 'posh' restaurant but no great surprises ... Food was nice, medium portions, poor service and over priced ... the musicians can be a bit of a nuisance but we're getting the knack on how to handle them. The violins make a lovely sound ... so light and delicate. We finished off the night walking along the banks of the Danube and taking in the illuminated sights. Must be fantastic in the warm summer evenings. Tired and ready for bed.
