Only 4 Days to Go

Counting Down :

Departing Cushendall on Wednesday 15th June, 2011. Read previous posts for more details.

Spent most of yesterday dismantling the bicycle, cleaning and putting it into a large cycle box. Adding plenty of soft things to protect the wheel spokes.

Information

The location on the map is automatically updated while my mobile 'phone is switched on, actioned and within an active cell area.

However, to conserve battery charge, the 'phone will usually be switched off.

During the day when I stop off somewhere for a rest or a bite to eat I will probably switch on the 'phone and update my location on 'Google Latitude'. The time status below the map will give an indication of recent activity but will depends on T-Mobile coverage or my ability to get onto the Internet via WiFi. Expect blogs from McDonald's, Starbucks or public libraries!

'Clicking' the Current Location link will give more detailed information in Google Maps. Try using 'Streetview', if it's available, to see the area I'm passing through.
