Slept in the long grass again in the corner of a field. Programmed to waken at 05:30 and on the road by 06:30 ... now into a routine. Check over the bike ... oil and clean the chain ... must keep the chain spotless.
Had a super breakfast in Bloomsfield square, opposite the majestic Court House and am now onto excellent Wifi in the public library. There's no McDonald's in this area.
A middle aged man pulled over and introduced himself as Don ... a keen recreational cyclist. He gave me a few tips when riding through Nebraska. He even dashed back to his house to get a good bicycle footpump to inflate my tyres up to 75psi ... now she'll roll!! Concerned about rear tyre ... it's smooth and not giving the mileage that I was expecting. Might purchase a new one when I hit Lincoln, Nebraska.
Not sure what's on the agenda today ... it's gonna be hot again ... need to study the map before deciding.
Pushed on to Centreville via the Mormon Trail and have clocked up nearly 40 miles in high temp and humidity. Time now to run indoors and chill out for a few hours. The public library is great ... cool, comfie chair, can charge the phone and good free Wifi ... should have thought of this earlier.

This is a typical river in these parts. The water is like chocolate, flows fast and you've got to climb down a muddy bank to get to it ... no thanks!
Reached the town of Corydon. Poor cell coverage ... had a strawberry milk shake ...mmmmm! Lovely! Sleeping down near the reservoir. Busy day, clocked up 64 miles in high temps (96F) and high humidity ... very pleased with myself.
